About Us
Somewhere in 1990th one small boy from poor farmer’s family asked his father to buy him a horse with carriage to help family transport nuts they plant to the market. His first horse was blind as they could not afford any other. He worked hard and bought another horse by himself. They had a lot of adventures together but the kid was growing and his dreams were growing too. He moved to Antalya to work as a helper at high class recreation stable, then learned riding, traveled to Europe to learn shoeing, took jumping and dressage lessons, competed in jumping, created trails and riding holidays for other stables. Until one day his experience and dreams grew into his own ranch.
Hilal Ranch is created by Isa Uçar and named after his old family name meaning “growing crescent”. It is small cosy yard in the forest with all stuff hand made by the owner and friends and all horses trained by Isa. It is authentic place to enjoy Turkish nature and cuisine and ride safe in the forest, take a lesson, try expedition riding across Tahtali mountain or just stay for camping or family event.

I did a round-trip with a group of 3 in total and Halina as our tourguide. Her husband Isa came along and made us wonderful food for lunch and diner. They are very good company, have many good stories to tell and we laughed a lot. The hotel at start was wonderful, big rooms, stunning views, nice swimming pool and delicious breakfast. The village house was very authentic and I loved the natural shower: a garden hose. Really cooled me down after a long day of horseriding. The campingsite at the bay was marvelous. We had a beach all to ourselves! I swam with two horses. It’s an experience I’m not gonna forget. All over the views were breathtaking. I really recommend anyone to book a multiple day trip horseriding.

One of the best times for me – moments when I watch this world from horseback. I saw advertisiment in Instagram and dared to join Lycian Way Trail. It was a challenge for me. Almost I gave it up but the team was super supportive and I made it. I enjoyed galloping in the beach, riding up in the sky and perfect views. This trip opened many hidden things inside my soul. I will definately come back again one day.
